Summary
CVE-2023-37947: This vulnerability affects the Jenkins OpenShift Login Plugin version 1.1.0.227.v27e08dfb_1a_20 and earlier. It allows attackers to conduct phishing attacks by tricking users into believing they are logging into Jenkins when they are actually redirected to a malicious site. The plugin fails to properly validate redirect URLs after login, making it possible for attackers to manipulate the login process and intercept user credentials. This issue poses a significant risk to organizations using the affected plugin, as it can lead to unauthorized access and potential data breaches. It is recommended that users upgrade to a patched version of the plugin as soon as possible to mitigate this vulnerability.
