Summary
CVE-2023-37943 is a vulnerability that affects Jenkins Active Directory Plugin version 2.30 and earlier. This plugin ignores the "Require TLS" and "StartTls" options, allowing the connection test to Active Directory to be performed unencrypted. Attackers who can intercept network traffic between the Jenkins controller and Active Directory servers can exploit this vulnerability to obtain Active Directory credentials. The potential danger posed by this vulnerability is high as it can lead to unauthorized access to sensitive information in an organization's Active Directory.
