Summary

CVE-2023-37916 is a high-severity vulnerability that affects KubePi, an open-source Kubernetes management panel. The vulnerability exists in the endpoint /kubepi/api/v1/users/search?pageNum=1&&pageSize=10, which leaks the password hash of any user, including the admin. An attacker with sufficient motivation could potentially crack these leaked password hashes. The issue has been addressed in version 1.6.5 of KubePi, and users are advised to upgrade to this version to remediate the vulnerability. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability, and it poses a high risk to organizations as it exposes sensitive password information and could lead to unauthorized access or data breaches.
