Summary
CVE-2023-37864 is a cyber vulnerability affecting PHOENIX CONTACTs WP 6xxx series web panels in versions prior to 4.0.10. It allows a remote attacker with SNMPv2 write privileges to gain full access to the device using a special SNMP request. The vulnerability has a base severity rating of HIGH and a base score of 7.2 according to the CVSS 3.1 vector string. It poses a high risk to organizations as it can result in the compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the affected device.
