Summary
CVE-2023-37863 is a cyber vulnerability found in PHOENIX CONTACTs WP 6xxx series web panels prior to version 4.0.10. It allows a remote attacker with SNMPv2 write privileges to gain full access to the device using a special SNMP request. The vulnerability has a high base severity rating of 7.2 and poses a significant danger to organizations as it can result in the compromise of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the affected device. To remediate this vulnerability, users should update their WP 6xxx series web panels to version 4.0.10 or higher.
