Summary
CVE-2023-37856 is a vulnerability affecting PHOENIX CONTACT's WP 6xxx series web panels. Versions prior to 4.0.10 are susceptible to this issue. A remote attacker with minimal privileges can exploit a configuration dialog within the embedded Qt browser to gain limited read-access to the device-filesystem. This vulnerability could potentially allow unauthorized access and data theft. Users are strongly advised to update their systems to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
