Summary

CVE-2023-37798 is a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability found in Vanderbilt REDCap 13.1.35. This vulnerability allows attackers to execute arbitrary web scripts or HTML by injecting a crafted payload into the project title parameter during the creation of a new REDCap project. The vulnerability affects multiple products, including bEECkQ, awCqcs, awCqct, and many others. The risk score associated with this vulnerability is 25 out of 100. To remediate this vulnerability, organizations should update their Vanderbilt REDCap installations to the latest version that includes a patch for this issue.
