Summary
CVE-2023-37732 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting Yasm version 1.3.0.78. This issue involves NULL Pointer Dereferences in the files /libyasm/intnum.c and /elf/elf.c, which can be exploited by an attacker to cause a denial of service. By supplying a carefully crafted file, the attacker can successfully trigger the vulnerability and result in a service outage. This flaw poses a significant risk to systems utilizing the vulnerable version of Yasm and could potentially lead to extended downtime.
