Summary
CVE-2023-37582 is a new vulnerability affecting the RocketMQ NameServer component. Despite the previous fix for a remote command execution issue in CVE-2023-33246, this vulnerability persists in versions 5.1.1 and below. If NameServer addresses are exposed on an extranet and lack proper permission verification, attackers can exploit this flaw to execute commands as the system users running RocketMQ. To mitigate this risk, users are advised to upgrade their NameServer to version 5.1.2 or above for RocketMQ 5.x, and to version 4.9.7 or above for RocketMQ 4.x.
