CVE-2023-37566 is a command injection vulnerability that affects ELECOM and LOGITEC wireless LAN routers. The vulnerability allows a network-adjacent authenticated attacker to execute arbitrary commands by sending a specially crafted request to the web management page. The affected products and versions include WRC-1167GHBK3-A v1.24 and earlier, WRC-1167FEBK-A v1.18 and earlier, WRC-F1167ACF2, WRC-600GHBK-A, WRC-733FEBK2-A, WRC-1467GHBK-A, WRC-1900GHBK-A, and LAN-W301NR. The potential danger posed to organizations is high as the attacker can gain unauthorized access and control over the routers, potentially leading to further network compromise. Remediation for this vulnerability would involve updating the firmware of the affected routers to a version that addresses the issue.
