Summary

CVE-2023-37468 is a vulnerability in the Feedbacksystem, a personalized feedback system for students that uses artificial intelligence. The issue affects users who use LDAP login, as their passwords are stored in clear text in the database. The vulnerability occurs when the LDAP user's password is passed unencrypted in the LoginController.scala and stored in the database during the first login. Users who use only local login or the cas login are not affected. The vulnerability has been fixed in version 1.19.2 of the Feedbacksystem. The potential danger of this vulnerability is that it exposes users' passwords and allows unauthorized access to their accounts, posing a risk to organizations using this system.
