Summary

CVE-2023-37265 is a vulnerability affecting CasaOS, an open-source Personal Cloud system. The vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary commands as `root` on CasaOS instances due to a lack of IP address verification. The issue was addressed in CasaOS 0.4.4 by improving the detection of client IP addresses. Users are advised to upgrade to CasaOS 0.4.4 or, if not possible, temporarily restrict access to CasaOS for untrusted users by not exposing it publicly.
