Summary
CVE-2023-37194 is a critical vulnerability affecting multiple Siemens SIMATIC CP models, including SIMATIC CP 1604, SIMATIC CP 1616, SIMATIC CP 1623, SIMATIC CP 1626, and SIMATIC CP 1628. This issue exposes the kernel memory of these devices to user-mode via Direct Memory Access (DMA), enabling local attackers with administrative privileges to execute arbitrary code on the host system without any restrictions.
