Summary
CVE-2023-37164 is a newly disclosed cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Diafan CMS version 6.0. Maliciously crafted input in the cat_id parameter, used in the /shop/ URL with the module and action parameters set to 'shop' and 'search' respectively, can be reflected to execute malicious scripts in users' browsers. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized data access or manipulation. To mitigate this risk, it is recommended that users immediately upgrade to a patched version of Diafan CMS or implement input validation and output encoding mechanisms to prevent such attacks.
