Summary
CVE-2023-3691 is a recently identified vulnerability affecting the HTML Attribute Handler in layui up to version 2.8.0-rc.16. The issue allows for cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks, which can be initiated remotely. The vulnerability arises when the argument title is manipulated. This issue is considered problematic and has been assigned the identifier VDB-234237. To mitigate the risk, it is strongly recommended that users upgrade to the latest version of layui, which is capable of addressing this vulnerability.
