Summary
CVE-2023-36777 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Microsoft Exchange Servers. This issue allows unauthenticated attackers to obtain sensitive information by exploiting a misconfiguration in the Outlook Web Access (OWA) component. By sending specially crafted requests, an attacker can gain access to data such as email addresses and other system details. The vulnerability poses a significant risk to organizations that have not yet applied the available patch, as it can be easily exploited remotely. Microsoft strongly advises all Exchange Server administrators to apply the security update as soon as possible to mitigate this information disclosure threat.
