Summary
CVE-2023-36750 is a critical vulnerability affecting multiple RUGGEDCOM device models, including RX1400, RX1500, RX1501, RX1510, RX1511, RX1512, RX1524, RX1536, RX5000, and ROX MX5000 and MX5000RE. The issue lies in the software-upgrade Url parameter in the web interface of these devices. An authenticated, privileged attacker can exploit this command injection vulnerability, which stems from the lack of server-side input validation, to execute arbitrary code with root privileges.
