Summary
CVE-2023-36736 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting Microsoft Identity Linux Broker. An attacker can exploit this flaw by sending specially crafted requests to a targeted instance of the broker, resulting in arbitrary code execution. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to gain administrative control over the affected system, potentially leading to data breaches or further compromises. Microsoft strongly urges users to update their Linux broker installations to the latest patched version to mitigate this risk.
