Summary
CVE-2023-36726 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting the Windows Internet Key Exchange (IKE) Extension. This issue allows an attacker to gain elevated privileges on a targeted system through a specially crafted message during the IKE handshake process. Exploitation of this vulnerability could result in significant damage, including the ability to install malware, steal sensitive data, or take control of the affected system.
