Details
Summary
CVE-2023-36693 is a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability affecting versions 1.1 and below of Alain Gonzalez's WP RSS Images plugin for WordPress. A successful attack could trick a user into executing unintended actions on a targeted website, potentially leading to data theft or unauthorized changes. An attacker could craft a malicious request that, when executed by the user, would cause the plugin to perform actions on behalf of the attacker, bypassing the user's authentication and authorization. Users of these affected plugin versions should update to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
