Summary
CVE-2023-3665 is a code injection vulnerability affecting Trellix ENS versions 10.7.0 and older, released in April 2023. A local user can exploit this flaw by manipulating environment variables to disable the ENS AMSI component. The consequence of this vulnerability is a denial of service, and potentially the execution of arbitrary code. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to gain unauthorized access and control, leading to potential data breaches and system compromise. It is recommended that users update to the latest version of Trellix ENS to mitigate this risk.
