Summary
CVE-2023-36639 is a serious vulnerability affecting Fortinet FortiProxy versions 7.2.0 through 7.2.4, 7.0.0 through 7.0.11, FortiOS versions 7.4.0, 6.4.0 through 6.4.12, 6.2.0 through 6.2.15, and FortiPAM versions 1.0.0 through 1.0.3. An attacker can exploit this use-after-free issue in the handling of externally-controlled format strings to execute unauthorized code or commands via specially crafted API requests, potentially leading to a complete system compromise.
