Summary
CVE-2023-36572 is a critical vulnerability affecting Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ). This Remote Code Execution (RCE) issue allows an unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code on targeted MSMQ servers. By sending specially crafted messages to a vulnerable MSMQ instance, an attacker can exploit this vulnerability to gain full system access, potentially leading to significant data loss or system compromise. Microsoft strongly advises all users to apply the available patch as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
