Summary
CVE-2023-36463 is a vulnerability affecting the Meldekarten generator, an open-source project used for creating, storing, and printing registration cards locally in the browser. The issue lies in insufficient input sanitization, making all text fields susceptible to Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. Malicious scripts can be injected through user input, posing a significant security risk. The vulnerability has been rectified in commit `77e04f4af`, which is part of the `1.0.0b1.1.2` release. Users are strongly encouraged to upgrade as soon as possible, as there are currently no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
