Summary
CVE-2023-36369 is a Denial of Service (DoS) vulnerability affecting MonetDB Server versions 11.45.17 and 11.46.0. An attacker can exploit this issue in the list_append component by utilizing specially crafted SQL statements. The vulnerability does not allow unauthorized access or data theft but can cause the MonetDB Server to crash or become unresponsive, leading to a DoS condition. It is recommended that users upgrade to a patched version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
