Summary

CVE-2023-36354 is a vulnerability found in TP-Link TL-WR940N V4, TL-WR841N V8/V10, TL-WR740N V1/V2, TL-WR940N V2/V3, and TL-WR941ND V5/V6 routers. The vulnerability is caused by a buffer overflow in the /userRpm/AccessCtrlTimeSchedRpm component, allowing attackers to trigger a Denial of Service (DoS) attack by sending a specially crafted GET request. The vulnerability has a base severity rating of "HIGH" and can be exploited remotely without requiring any privileges or user interaction. It poses a potential danger to organizations as it can lead to service disruptions and affect the availability of the affected routers.
