Summary
CVE-2023-36289 is an unauthenticated Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Webkul QloApps 1.6.0. An attacker can exploit this flaw by injecting malicious scripts into a victim's Web browser while browsing a specially crafted page. Successful exploitation grants the attacker access to a user's session cookie, enabling them to impersonate the user and perform actions such as creating emails using the POST email_create and back parameter. This vulnerability poses a significant risk and requires immediate remediation by upgrading to a patched version of the software.
