Summary

CVE-2023-35986 is a vulnerability that affects Sante DICOM Viewer Pro. The vulnerability arises from the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data when parsing DICOM files, which can lead to a stack-based buffer overflow. This vulnerability allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code within the current process. The affected products include lv4Qdg, lv4Qdh, lv4Qdi, and many others. To remediate this vulnerability, it is recommended to update to the latest version of Sante DICOM Viewer Pro that includes a fix for this issue.
