Summary
CVE-2023-35965 is a critical vulnerability affecting the Yifan YF325 v1.0_20221108 httpd manage_post functionality. Two heap-based buffer overflows have been identified in this system. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending a maliciously crafted network request, leading to a heap buffer overflow. The resulting integer overflow is then utilized to pass an incorrect argument to the malloc function, potentially allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial-of-service condition.
