Summary
CVE-2023-35948 is a vulnerability affecting Novu's API for sending notifications. In versions prior to 0.16.0, an open redirect vulnerability was found in the "Sign In with GitHub" functionality of Novu's open-source repository. This issue could potentially allow an attacker to force a victim into opening a malicious URL, gaining unauthorized access to the repository under the victim's account. Novu Cloud and Open-Source deployments with manually enabled GitHub OAuth were at risk. Users are advised to upgrade to version 0.16.0 to apply the patch and secure their accounts from this vulnerability.
