Summary

CVE-2023-35933 is a vulnerability affecting OpenFGA versions v1.1.0 and earlier. It allows for a denial-of-service (DoS) attack when Check and ListObjects calls are made against authorization models with circular relationship definitions. This vulnerability poses a potential danger to organizations using OpenFGA v1.1.0 or earlier, specifically if they execute `Check` or `ListObjects` calls against vulnerable authorization models. The recommended remediation is to upgrade to version 1.1.1, as there are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. It should be noted that users without circular relationships in their models are not affected by this vulnerability.
