Summary

CVE-2023-35928 is a vulnerability in Nextcloud Server and Nextcloud Enterprise Server versions. It allows a user to gain access to the login credentials of another user and take over their account. The issue has been patched in the latest versions of the affected products. Three workarounds are available: disabling the app files_external, changing the configuration setting to disable allowing users to mount external storage, or disallowing users to use this functionality. The vulnerability has a high severity rating and poses a potential danger to organizations as it can lead to unauthorized access and compromise of sensitive data.
