Summary

CVE-2023-3572 is a vulnerability affecting PHOENIX CONTACT's WP 6xxx series web panels prior to version 4.0.10. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit an attribute of a specific HTTP POST request concerning date/time operations, granting them full access to the device. This issue poses a significant risk as it enables attackers to control the panel remotely without needing any credentials. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized modification, manipulation, or extraction of sensitive data.
