Summary
CVE-2023-35642 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) services. This issue permits an attacker to initiate a Denial of Service (DoS) attack by sending malicious traffic to the targeted system. The vulnerability exists due to insufficient input validation, allowing the attacker to overwhelm the ICS service with excessive data. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in a total loss of network connectivity, causing significant inconvenience and potential business disruption.
