Summary

CVE-2023-3526 is a critical vulnerability that affects PHOENIX CONTACT's TC ROUTER and TC CLOUD CLIENT devices in versions prior to 2.07.2, as well as CLOUD CLIENT 1101T-TX/TX prior to 2.06.10. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit a reflective cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability within the license viewer page of these devices to execute arbitrary code in the user's browser. The vulnerability has a base severity score of 9.6 and poses a high risk to organizations, with high impact on integrity and confidentiality. To remediate this issue, users should update their devices to version 2.07.2 for TC ROUTER and TC CLOUD CLIENT, or version 2.06.10 for CLOUD CLIENT 1101T-TX/TX.
