Summary
CVE-2023-3526 is a vulnerability affecting PHOENIX CONTACT's TC ROUTER and TC CLOUD CLIENT versions prior to 2.07.2, and CLOUD CLIENT 1101T-TX/TX versions prior to 2.06.10. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit a reflective Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the license viewer page of these devices. Successful exploitation allows the attacker to execute malicious code in the user's browser. This could lead to unauthorized access, data theft, or even complete takeover of the affected system. Users are advised to update their devices to the latest versions to mitigate this risk.
