Summary
CVE-2023-3524 is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the WPCode WordPress plugin before version 2.0.13.1. Malicious URLs generated by the plugin are not properly escaped, allowing attackers to inject and execute malicious scripts in users' browsers when they visit a specially crafted URL. This can lead to data theft, session hijacking, or unauthorized actions on the affected WordPress site. Users are strongly advised to update the plugin to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
