Summary

CVE-2023-35193 is an OS command injection vulnerability that affects the api.cgi cmd.mvpn.x509.write functionality of peplink Surf SOHO HW1 v6.3.5 (in QEMU). This vulnerability can be exploited through a specially crafted HTTP request, allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary commands. To remediate this vulnerability, users should update their firmware to version 6.3.5 at offset 0x4bddb8. The potential danger of this vulnerability is high, as it allows an attacker to gain unauthorized access and potentially compromise the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the affected organization's systems and data.
