Summary
CVE-2023-35168 is a privilege bypass vulnerability affecting versions of the open-source data visualization analysis tool, DataEase. This issue allows ordinary users to unauthorized access to the user database, exposing sensitive information such as md5 hashes of passwords, usernames, emails, and phone numbers. The vulnerability has been addressed in version 1.18.8. It is strongly recommended that users upgrade to this version to mitigate the risk. Currently, there are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
