Summary

CVE-2023-3514 is a privilege escalation vulnerability affecting RazerCentralService on Windows systems. A local attacker can exploit this issue by communicating with a named pipe in RazerCentral (version <=7.11.0.558) as a low-privilege user. By sending specific commands, such as "AddModule" or "UninstallModules," the attacker can gain SYSTEM privileges and execute arbitrary executable files. This vulnerability poses a significant risk, allowing attackers to escalate their privileges and potentially gain full control of the affected system.
