Summary

CVE-2023-35116, also known as the jackson-databind vulnerability, affects various products including VWGEMd, VWGEMf, tuGM4X, WpnPSc, and more. It allows attackers to cause a denial of service or other unspecified impact by using cyclic dependencies in a crafted object. The vendor disputes it as a valid vulnerability since it requires the construction of a cyclic data structure and serialization which cannot be achieved externally. However, organizations still face potential dangers such as service disruption or unauthorized access. To mitigate the risk, users should update their jackson-databind software to version 2.15.3 or newer when available.
