Summary
CVE-2023-35029 is an open redirect vulnerability affecting Liferay Portal versions 7.4.3.70 to 7.4.3.76 and Liferay DXP updates 70 to 76. This issue lies in the Layout module's SEO configuration. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by manipulating the `_com_liferay_layout_admin_web_portlet_GroupPagesPortlet_backURL` parameter, enabling them to redirect unsuspecting users to arbitrary external URLs. This poses a significant risk as users may inadvertently divulge sensitive information or download malware when visiting the malicious URLs.
