Summary

CVE-2023-35029 is an open redirect vulnerability found in the Layout module's SEO configuration in Liferay Portal versions 7.4.3.70 through 7.4.3.76, as well as Liferay DXP 7.4 update 70 through 76. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to redirect users to arbitrary external URLs by manipulating the `_com_liferay_layout_admin_web_portlet_GroupPagesPortlet_backURL` parameter. The vulnerability affects several products, including r-aBvG, r-aBvH, r-aBvF, r-aBvK, r-aBvL, r-aBvI, r-aBvJ, rdBpy8, rdBpy9, rdBpy-, rdBpy_, rdBpy5, rdBpy6, and rdBpy7. Organizations are advised to apply the necessary updates or patches provided by Liferay to remediate this vulnerability.
