Summary
CVE-2023-35002 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting Accusoft ImageGear 20.1. This issue involves a heap-based buffer overflow in the "pictwread" functionality. A maliciously crafted file can exploit this flaw, leading to arbitrary code execution. An attacker can take advantage of this vulnerability by supplying a specially crafted image file to trigger the buffer overflow and gain unauthorized system access.
