Summary
CVE-2023-34872 is a newly identified vulnerability that affects Outline.cc's use of Poppler before version 23.06.0. This issue permits a remote attacker to trigger a Denial of Service (DoS) condition by supplying a specially crafted PDF file to the OutlineItem::open function. Successful exploitation leads to a crash, effectively denying service to the affected system. Users are recommended to update Poppler to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
