Summary

CVE-2023-34796 is a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting the dmarcts-report-viewer dashboard with versions 1.1 and below, as well as commit 8a1d882b4c481a05e296e9b38a7961e912146a0f. Unauthenticated attackers can exploit this flaw by injecting malicious code into the org_name or domain values, leading to arbitrary code execution. This issue poses a significant risk as it allows attackers to gain control over users' web sessions and potentially steal sensitive information or install malware. It is strongly advised that affected users upgrade to the latest version of the dashboard to mitigate this threat.
