Summary

CVE-2023-3464 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting SimplePHPscripts Classified Ads Script version 1.8. This issue is classified as problematic and impacts an unnamed function in the file /preview.php of the URL Parameter Handler component. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by manipulating the p argument, leading to cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. These attacks can be launched remotely, meaning an attacker does not need to have local access to the system. To mitigate this risk, it is strongly recommended that users upgrade their affected component as soon as possible. VDB-232710 has been assigned to this vulnerability.
