Summary

CVE-2023-34551 is a vulnerability that impacts several EZVIZ camera models. In affected devices, two stack buffer overflows exist in the netClientSetWlanCfg function of the EZVIZ SDK command server. These flaws can be exploited by an authenticated attacker on the same local network as the camera to execute arbitrary code remotely. The vulnerability affects CS-C6N-B0, CS-C6N-R101, CS-CV310-A0-1B2WFR, CS-CV310-A0-1C2WFR-C, CS-C6N-A0-1C2WFR-MUL, CS-CV310-A0-3C2WFRL-1080p, CS-CV248-A0-32WMFR, and EZVIZ LC1C models running outdated firmware versions. The potential impact of this vulnerability is significant, as it allows an attacker to gain full control over the affected device.
