Summary

CVE-2023-34458 is a vulnerability in the mx-chain-go implementation of the MultiversX blockchain protocol written in Golang. It could have allowed for a limited denial-of-service (DoS) attack on a targeted account by increasing the sender account nonce of a failed relayed transaction. The vulnerability has been patched in version 1.4.17 with the introduction of a new flag called `RelayedNonceFixEnableEpoch`. This strict processing issue while validating blocks on the chain affected various products within the affected_products list.
