Summary

CVE-2023-34236 is a vulnerability that affects the Weave GitOps Terraform Controller. This vulnerability allows an authenticated remote attacker to view sensitive information. The vulnerability is caused by sensitive data being inadvertently printed in the pod logs of Weave GitOps Terraform Runners. The functions `tfexec.ShowPlan`, `tfexec.ShowPlanRaw`, and `tfexec.Output` are implicated in this vulnerability. An unauthorized remote attacker could exploit this by accessing the prints of sensitive information, potentially gaining unauthorized control or access to resources managed by the Terraform controller.
