Summary
CVE-2023-34189 is a vulnerability affecting Apache InLong versions 1.4.0 through 1.7.0. This issue involves an Exposure of Resource to Wrong Sphere issue, allowing general users to delete and update process occurrences, a privilege typically reserved for admins. The attacker can exploit this vulnerability to manipulate process occurrences, posing a potential security risk. To mitigate this issue, users are advised to upgrade to Apache InLong 1.8.0 or apply the patch from GitHub pull request 8109.
