Summary
CVE-2023-34188 is a vulnerability affecting Mongoose HTTP server before version 7.10. This issue allows an attacker to send a request with a negative Content-Length header, causing the server to enter an infinite loop. The server becomes unresponsive to other requests, leading to a denial-of-service condition. The attacker can exploit this by sending a single payload over TCP to cause the server to continuously reparse the malicious request, preventing it from processing legitimate traffic.
