Summary

CVE-2023-34188 is a vulnerability that affects the HTTP server in Mongoose before version 7.10. The vulnerability allows an attacker to send requests with negative Content-Length headers, causing an infinite loop in the server. As a result, the server continuously reparses the attack payload and does not respond to other requests. This vulnerability poses a high danger to organizations as it can lead to denial of service, impacting the availability of the affected products. To remediate this vulnerability, organizations should update their Mongoose software to version 7.10 or later.
